The sensor based on the wearable freezing dried cell free (WFDCF) technology, the team extracted and freeze dried the molecular machinery that cell use to identify genetic material like DNA and RNA. This sensor worked similar to the fingerprint to identify the virus, said by co-frist author luis soenksen, a post–doctoral fellow at the wyss Institute

The sensor is activated with the press of button, which release a small amount of water to rehydrate the freeze dired components. Experts said that because of it many real time testing barriers can be reduced and test is gold standard of RT-PCR test and give result quickly and it is also inexpensive all the product can make even less than 5 dollor(370 ₹)

Because the team is looking for commercial partner to help produce the sensor what happen if it is not available now ,but in future we can used and increase our protection while bringing the laboratory to the person to person
